Glitter Tattooing is super fun and clean. You are ready to rumble and play in the pool as soon as the artist is done! Glitter tattooing is skin safe (but is never placed on the face). It is reserved for a relatively hairless part of the body like an ankle, foot, shoulder or inner arm. It can be applied to anyone over 3 years old.
Using an FDA approved skin safe adhesive, Sherry free hand applies a chosen design to the skin and then applies your choice of glitter color. You are left with a unique, colourful and sparkling design. Some examples are Kanji Symbols; A Rose; Stars or Rainbows and Butterflies or a scorpion and much more. Glitter Tattoos will last anywhere from 2 days to one week. They exfoliate off of naturally or can be removed with baby oil or rubbing alcohol. They are waterproof but must be cared for like any other tattoo. Oily skin, oily bathwater or excessive perspiration can cause a glitter tattoo to come off much sooner.
Theatrical Makeup Paints {which are used to paint faces} can meet your needs for a special occasion. They can cover an existing tattoo or be used to create a fake tattoo look. The body paint lasts just 1 day, but is a superior and fun way to fake a tattoo or cover an old tattoo for a special occasion such as a wedding, ball or gala event.
Beautiful body art can be masculine or feminine and causes the wearer to become the centre of attention. If your body art is covering an old tattoo, you will temporarily be transformed into a work of original art. There’s no pain and no needles and you won’t tire of your fake tattoo. All Natural Henna Tattooing is very relaxing. Sherry offers discerning clients or teens...primarily contemporary style henna designs. Sherry has received training by two of Canada’s leading Henna professionals. Sherry’s henna paste is made from the best powder available and is extremely fresh. She was trained in Mixology, application and care techniques. The natural ingredients Sherry uses to mix her paste along with the natural properties of the Lawsonia Inermis (Henna) Plant, provides you and your friends with a cooling, soothing, therapeutic and artistic adventure.
Turn your home into a Kasbah! Turn some good music on in the background; light some smelly candles; brew a unique herbal tea and serve European style finger foods to your guests. Enjoy the naturally cooling properties of the henna paste which is applied to your skin gently and slowly. Visit with your friends while the paste dries and be prepared for extra loving when Hubby notices that you are tattooed!
Now, back to reality...Henna tattooing has rules. Please read this so you are prepared to have your beautiful tattoo applied and know how to care for it afterwards. The Rules:
Exfoliate your body the day before you attend the party. Do not apply moisturizers containing sunscreen.
Do not splash in chlorinated water; do the dishes; rub sunscreen on 2 days while you have your tattoo. Family must serve you and cater to your every whim while you are caring for your tattoo. About 1 week!
Attend the party with lots of skin options available. Hands and Feet stain the best. Get a nice pedicure right before the party.
Relax, eat, drink and pick a design of your choice. Decide where you want it.
Sherry will apply the design using fresh moist henna paste. It is wet!
She will add some artistic expression into your design as well as asking you if you like it so far. But- do not talk during your henna design application as it causes your body to move and may disturb the application process. Just nod gently.
Sherry will then sprinkle the wet design with a little glitter and leave you alone to dry for 15-25 minutes.
The wet paste dries on your skin. Sherry can re-moisten the paste or wrap the design to keep it warm.
If your design is wrapped, you can sleep with it on overnight. However, you can also remove the dry Paste into the toilet before you go to bed.
Show your husband the budding tattoo. Warn him about how you cannot do chores for a full week and how he has to bathe you because you cannot get it wet for 2 days.
Do not get your design wet for 2 days! If you do get it wet, it will stop the staining process. Your tattoo will be very faint and you will be disappointed in the color.
As two days goes by and you feel tired of sitting around watching everyone else have fun doing the chores... you will see your stain turn from an orange color to hopefully, a warm orange brown. Some stains, like on those on fingers or knuckles, will turn a dark red brown. A good example can be seen in the gallery # 3 for henna and glitter tattoos.
Your design will naturally go away as your skin exfoliates. Help your tattoo to last longer by massaging oils into your design every day. This slows the exfoliation of cells.

Prices for parties and events are dependent on the number of guests attending and the location. Rates for glitter or henna tattooing are $100 per hr. plus a travel fee if applicable.
We have a two hour minimum booking time for all parties or events.
