Sherry’s Henna Education and Experience:
Sherry was privately trained and certified in January 2006 by certified ‘Natural’ Henna Artist Larissa Reinders of www.dragon-fly-designs.ca. Sherry taught Henna design to Children 8-12 years old at the Chilliwack FVR Library; applied Henna Tattoos at Chilliwack Community Dry Grad in 2007/08 and for Positive Women’s Network Retreats in 2008 as well as at two Fort Langley Festivals. Disgracefully Dazzling ~ Glitter Tattoos
Glitter Tattoos are made using a skin safe FDA approved prosthetic adhesive. Sherry applies your chosen design freehand and your design options are almost unlimited. Ask for a: a Spiral Sun, a Seahorse, a Beautiful Rose or Hibiscus or a Kanji symbol. She has over 25 Colors of Theatrical Glitter to choose from and will finish off your design with a fun and stunning illustration of sparkling color. The tattoo could last 2-7 days. Your glitter tattoo will withstand water and can be gently removed with rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Safe for children 4 and up. { Not recommended for people with sensitive skin}

• Additional Information on Henna Tattooing:
  Many Henna Tattoo enthusiasts desire a deeper darker stain. Real Henna paste stains best on the feet and hands because of the skin being thicker there. Upper Arms, Lower Backs, legs etc, will probably not stain deeply. See above photos where the stain lightens as it moves towards the forearm. This is a common trait of Natural Henna.
  It can stain anywhere from light orange to dark red brown. A deep or even stain is not guaranteed and the stain, or length of time you retain the stain may depend upon your unique skin chemistry, how well you prepared for your Henna Tattoo or how you took care of it after it was applied.
  Sherry could buy products that stain dark brown on all body areas all the time; however she chooses to refrain from using these factory mixed products from foreign countries whose contents are not labelled and which offer no expiration date!

• Simulated Tattoos:
  A simulated Henna Tattoo is an option for those who do not want the real thing. It is a wonderful alternative and is done by painting the chosen design onto the skin using cosmetic body paints {or Temporary Tattoo Ink. Please call Sherry for more information on this ink.}
  It is very pretty and looks very similar to a real Henna Tattoo. It can be gilded or glittered up right away and sealed with a theatrical skin sealant to last the evening. One test body painting lasted over 20 hours! It comes off with soap and water or make-up remover.
