PARENTS…PLEASE
READ THIS ALOUD TO YOUR FAMILY PET
- Sherry refreshes her brush water with every new guest!
- Sherry uses hand sanitizers and wet wipes as needed.
- She uses a clean washed sponge on each new person.
- Parents, if your child has a dirty face, please grab a
wet wipe. Thanks!
- Sherry washes her paints and brushes thoroughly after and
before every event day with soap and fresh water.
- CHILDREN UNDER 3 years old should NOT receive a Balloon
Toy or Face Paint!
Little children do not well developed immune systems and face
painting is not a sterile environment. Balloons pose a serious
choking hazard to this age group as well.
- We do not give balloons or face art to children 3 and under.
We will not tolerate adult temper tantrums either!
- PLEASE DO NOT: wait in line with children who
feel unwell or sick with: Runny noses; cold sores; minor or
persistent coughs or sneezing; cuts or sores on the face or
body etc. They will be refused face painting since we need
to protect our work area and our own health.
- Please note: coughing and sneezing is not okay as
it spreads germs onto our equipment and onto us.
Please respect our health and our safety concerns and join
us only when your child feels well. Thank you.
- If your child is unwell at an event, please ask the
event organizers to bring us back! Hopefully your child will
feel better next time. Thank you.
- Children who do not want to be painted will not be painted!
Really people...putting everyone through torture with all
the kicking and screaming that goes on…and then what
happens if the child imitates me? Then you’ll be mad!
Please respect a child’s wishes to NOT get painted.
Thank you.
- Removal of Face Paint Makeup:
Our quality theatrical makeup paints and glitters wash off
the skin with soap and water. However, due to the higher pigment
content in some colors, a light residue (stain) may remain
on the skin upon removal. One black paint we use is particularly
disagreeable to remove.
- Please do not scrub the Childs skin! The residue
will come off with the next sudsy wash. You can also use baby
oil, quality make-up remover, ivory soap, baby shampoo to
help remove the makeup. For most children, our face and body
art is so well liked that they do not want to remove it anyway!
- If you have sensitive skin, please do not get painted.
If you have a reaction, wash your face right away.
No product is above a potential reaction.
- You accept all risks when you accept being face painted.
We recommend being painted on the arm or leg instead.
- If you have any concerns, being painted on the back of
the hand or on an arm or leg is the safest place to be painted.
- We make every effort to maintain a safe and clean product
application and work space. But after 3 hours, things get
fuzzy.
- Wiggly children get wiggly art. This is okay with
us since getting painted is a fun and nice experience.
- Badgering Parents: please do not repeatedly tell
your child to sit still and to not move. It does not work…really!
It only serves to annoy the artist and quite possibly, the
child too. Plus…your child does not stop wiggling!!
Squiggly art can be fun too.
We guarantee there to
be a colorful glittery ring around your tubby after you bathe
your little princess or monster!
Remove paint by blowing bubbles, kisses and give great big air
hugs.
…Happy Face Painting All!
